    I had a Trane A/C installed by air systems. Carlos and his crew were on time, worked very efficiently and finished the installation within 1 day despite having to widen the attic opening. They cleaned up carefully and were professional in their communication. Also, their price was about $1000 less than the closest competitor. Would definitely hire them again!

    I recently had the pleasure of working with Air Systems to replace my old air conditioner, and I couldnt be more satisfied with the experience. The entire process was a breeze and took less than a week from start to finish. My previous unit, which had been noisy and underperforming for over 10 years, finally broke down on a Friday. The back rooms in my house were either unbearably hot in the summer or freezing cold in the winter.I contacted Air Systems, and to my surprise and delight, they scheduled a free estimate for the very next day—a Saturday! Carlos arrived early in the morning and was incredibly knowledgeable. He inspected the old unit and explained that it was the wrong size for my home, which was likely causing many of the issues we had been experiencing. He provided us with several options for replacement.Carlos and his team returned on Thursday, and their work was nothing short of outstanding. The new Trane unit they installed is amazing—it’s so quiet that I can hardly tell it’s running. Best of all, my entire home is now consistently comfortable, including the back rooms, which were always problematic before.We are extremely happy with the results, and even our three cats are enjoying the newfound comfort.     Air Systems is the company to use for you AC/Heating needs. I worked with 4 companies and Carlos with Air Systems was by far the most professional, informative, knowledgeable and customer focused of any of them. The proposal was detailed and informative which allowed me to know exactly what I was going to have installed.As soon as I selected the units that I wanted installed, I was given an install date ASAP. The crew showed up first thing in the morning with a box truck that had everything that was needed to complete the install. The team that worked on my house was dedicated and determined to get everything I ordered installed in one day.Carlos followed through with me off and on throughout the day to make sure everything was going as planned. The technicians remained with me until the house started cooling off. They assisted me with how everything worked and would not leave until I was 100% satisfied.Again, Air systems is the company to use.

    My wife and I purchased a “hybrid” Trane heat pump (XV20i) and gas furnace (S8V2) HVAC system from Air Systems in October 2023. Carlos Jimenez came to our home, discussed the pros and cons of heat pumps with us, and prepared a detailed quote. I got several bids for the job; they were close in price but Air Systems installation looked superior. We accepted the Air Systems quote and installation was scheduled for about two weeks later. The installers were friendly, quick, and professional. The new system was installed and running within a day! The installers even repainted our attic stairs, which had to be removed to get the new furnace into the attic. Carlos prepared and submitted applications for rebates from Trane and our local utility! Danielle in the Air Systems office did a great job scheduling installation, arranging for the city inspection and registering our new system with Trane. We couldn’t be happier with Air Systems or the performance of the new Trane system. I highly recommend Carlos Jimenez and Air Systems!

    Our AC was not working when we arrived home after being away for over a week. We called Air Systems first thing this morning and received a response quickly.We were placed on the schedule for today and one of the Air Systems technicians, Mark, called and asked to arrive earlier than originally planned. Mark was thorough and personable. He quickly ascertained the issue, had the necessary part and completed within 30 minutes.We have been using Air Systems for decades and have always received excellent service, prompt response, and quality work with a friendly demeanor.

    My air conditioning system went out during the tremendous heat wave that we are still experiencing in Texas. I called air systems based on a personal referral that I got from a friend. He lost his system during the pandemic and supply shortages but air systems worked with him to supply him with a loaner system until they could secure his new system. That was the kind of support I wanted.They show up when they say they are going to come. Call and text and always keeps you in the loop.Technicians are knowledgeable and friendly and answer all your questions.Office staff are very responsive.When a specific unit wasnt available for me after Trane said it was there, they got me an upgrade without cost.The unit itself is so quiet, cools so well. Each and every night I enjoy this a/c.Going with them for servicing too!Its just going to get hotter in Texas, you need to have the right a/c to deal with the heat and the right company to back it up.

    My 85 year old mothers AC was on its last legs in the heat of August. I got 3 quotes from Angie list recommended contractors for replacement. While Air Systems was not the cheepest, I did my research and found they had the level of experience I needed and a reputation for quality and service. As a Trane shop, I also knew they were well trained. Carlos worked with me from quote through install and did the final inspection. Work was completed on time in one day with no addition charges. My mother was very happy!

    Called today for service. They literally called me back within minutes and 30 minutes later had a tech in my house working in my AC unit. Mark was kind and knowledgeable.     We hired Air Systems to do regular maintenance on our home HVAC. When it was determined that our 22y/o system was beyond further repair they helped us select the best new system for our house.     I had my A/C completely replaced. Air Systems engineered a fantastic system that met my needs. They came on time early in the morning and completed the removal of the old system and installation of the new system. by mid afternoon so the interruption to my daily routine was minimal. There were a few installation anomalies which revealed themselves in the following weeks but they quickly came out to correct them. This company also scheduled the city inspectors to come out and ensure the system meets local regulations.

    I was looking to replace a 22-year-old AC system. Looked at Angis list for AC companies and found Air Systems as a recommended company. Submitted a quote request thru the website. Five minutes later I get a call from Carlos to schedule an appointment. I was very impressed with his quick response. He came over and assessed what was needed and provide me with 5 replacement options and what each would cost. I was able to do research on units and had a good understanding of which would meet my needs. Other companies just gave me one choice. Once I decided which option I wanted, I informed Carlos and we scheduled and appointment. Before appointment I had a few questions regarding unit and install, every time I contacted Carlos he would respond almost immediately and would answer my questions. Carlos and his crew arrived at appointment time told me what they were going to do and how long it would take to complete replacement. The team was very professional and very courteous and did a great job on install. They cleaned up as they finished and David gave me a quick tutorial on the Thermostat and its functions. All in all it was a great experience and never felt pressured at all. Great company great team of employees. Definitely would recommend to family and friends.

    I have followed Air Systems for years. As an Angies List person, I used them when a friend needing A/C work. They were rated 5 Stars. I told my friend...he used them...replied that they were Outstanding. So when I needed to replace two A/C and Heating systems they were one of three companies I contacted. After evaluating all three, Air Systems was hands-down the best. They beat the other two companies, were more customer oriented and they use Trane Systems which was what I was replacing. Installation and all paperwork was on time and perfect. As a result, I have also bought a 10 year maintenance program where Air Systems will be the company that will repair and future breakdowns. Carlos and Air Systems are great!

    The service provided was first class. The installation of the unit was seemless. They arrived on time, were considerate to the property, and thorough from start to finish. Both gentleman were friendly, intelligent, organized, responsible, helpful, understanding and patient. When coming in and out of the home, they were respectful and took precautions to ensure they did not leave footprints or dirt in the home. What was most impressive was the owner of the business come to the house to ensure everything was going smoothly and asked if I had had questions or concerns. Approximately a week later I received a courtesy follow-up call, which I appreciated. I was, and am still, amazed that they processed all of the paperwork for me to get the CPS rebate. I didnt have to do a thing but sign my name.Dont fall for companies that have silly commercials or make unrealistic claims. Go with a local, family owned company that has a long standing presence in our community. Support this company with your business, you wont be disappointed.

    Ruben with Air Systems came out to do an A/C tune up that I purchased on Angies List and he did a fantastic job! He took his time doing the tune up and did a complete inspection of both units and cleared our drain lines. He wore shoe protectors and was very respectful of the property. He did not try to sell me a new A/C like a lot of companies that you hire to do tune ups. The price was very reasonable and the service was quickly scheduled and completed. Overall, I am very impressed with Air Systems via Rubens great job and Ill keep the Company in mind if I ever need a new A/C system.

    I used Air Systems to replace a 20 year old heat pump. From the start of diagnosing the old unit, to getting a quote (no pressure tactics), to the actual replacement, everything went smoothly. Carlos and the team were fantastic. Carlos spent 10+ minutes with me on the phone at the beginning of my replacement inquiry just answering question after question and did not pressure me at all.The quote was a good price but more importantly, the team did a fantastic job on the installation. The day of the installation, they removed the old unit, installed the new unit, cleaned up and stayed for an hour to make sure the unit was functioning properly. They even assisted with installing additional plywood in my attic. The entire job was done in about 5-6 hours. The team even submits the CPS AC replacement rebate for you.This team will be my go-to for any HVAC related problems in the future and at some point, I will need to replace my other heat pump. They will be the only place I contact to do that.

    I needed to replace my HVAC unit relatively quickly. Carlos made it out to my home within 12 hours of me first reaching out to the company. They were prompt on the service, made sure I felt comfortable with everything being done, and professional throughout the experience. I feel as if Im setting up a relationship to ensure my HVAC system is being taken care of over the next 10 years, rather than just paying for the installation and hoping the work was done correctly.     We have been an Air Systems customer since moving to San Antonio a few years ago. We cant say enough about how pleased we have been with the quality of their service. They are truly a customer-oriented business. They are always professional, polite, and easy to work with. Their technicians are knowledgeable and dont mind answering questions and explaining what they do. In April 2017, Air Systems did a complete change-out of our A/C and furnace system with a quality Trane System. We made this job challenging for them in that they had to schedule their work over three different days because of other work we were having done at our home. Although I know this created challenges for their work schedules, they graciously accommodated our needs and the work being performed by another contractor. With respect to their work, the quality of the work is evident every place you look. We dont believe we could have gotten a more professional installation. We cant imagine ever calling anyone else to handle our A/C and heating needs.

    By far the best company, Air Systems gave us be best estimate for a new AC Unit. Our AC went out beginning of May and I called them to see if they could come out soon since my mom is 75 years old and is at home all day. They came out that afternoon, they fixed it right away but advised us that our unit was very old and needed to be replaced. I asked 3 different companies to come out an give us an estimate and by far Air Systems A/C-Heating And Refrigeration gave us the best price plus 0% Financing for 18 months. I recommend them to anyone needing a new AC Unit or simply maintenance.

    Been using this company for AC tune-up and small AC repairs for 5 years now. David has been absolutely amazing technician - he is honest, knowledgeable and does not up-sell. He has kept our 17 year old AC running just fine with small repairs. They are also very reasonable in terms of their repair costs. Unlike other companies, they have fixed the underlying issue without straight up suggesting replacement of the whole AC system because they want to make additional money on new system install. Don’t be afraid to give them a chance! I am certain they will exceed your expectations as well!

    Update, 6 weeks later, two days before temps were forecast to drop into the mid-teens: Already cold enough for the heater to kick on, it would kick off in an hour or two. A tech was at my house within an hour of calling. After leaving, the system kicked off again. The tech returned, again almost within an hour, and this time found the problem: a bad circuit breaker that would overheat and trip. (Intermittent problems like that are the hardest to find.) The heater ran for hours the next day without fail.Original review: Price was high but installation, its said, is more important than the brand. This installation was excellent. Drop cloths were laid down on floor. All old equipment, inside and outside house, was removed. Crew worked without taking a break, and boss checked the system before they left. Professional all the way.

    We recently had two complete A/C and heating systems replaced by Air Systems. Their bid was the most complete, transparent, and easily understood of all we received. The equipment they quoted was the best according to a national review organization (CR). They set up a schedule which they followed as planned. The equipment has been installed and inspected and is working beautifully according to all previous expectations. The workmen were courteous, efficient, and left the work area spotless. Carlos is a man of his word and they will continue to get our business for the maintenance of this excellent equipment. I highly recommend them.

    Air Systems replaced our homes central AC & heating system. We werent too happy about having to replace a 13-year-old system (I thought theyd last longer!), but Carlos Jimenez with Air Systems worked with us to get the best system for our home at the best price. He gave us quotes on 7 different options so we could really compare products and make the very best, informed decision. We loved our previous AC company, but Air Systems gave us a price that the other company couldnt match.Due to manufacturing delays, we had to wait a few weeks for the system to come from Trane, but once it came in, the guys from Air Systems were out the very next day. They only took one day to remove our old system and install a new Trane XR17 heat pump system and outdoor compressor, along with a new Trane WiFi thermostat. They had to remove door trim to get the old system out, but then they came back a couple of days later and reattached the door trim, caulked and painted it. Looks like new! The new system has a 10-year warranty from Trane and for a nominal fee we were able to add 10-year warranty on all labor from Air Systems.Everyone at Air Systems was so professional and respectful. The install team was so respectful of my home. I work from home due to the pandemic and they didnt disrupt me at all. I look forward to continuing our relationship with twice a year maintenance agreement.Get a quote from Air Systems before you commit to anyone else!

The company and their employees were very professional, courteous and respectable of our property. They were all very hard workers and completed the job in a very timely manner. They call twice a year to set up maintenance on our system. They have always been on time and very professional about when servicing our system.     We called Air Systems as a second quote for a new HVAC system. Actually I didnt call but filled out a form with my phone number and my question late at night. I received a text the very next day saying someone would be out later that day at 3pm. Our system was 12 years old and had a leak. Unfortunately it also has the old refrigerant R22.So Carlos came on time and he went straight to the attic to see what kind of system we had. He is a man of few words and let me know that he would have to go to his office and gather info for the systems we were interested in based on the seer rating. He left and I received an email about 2 hours later. The email with the info was easy to read. My husband and I made a decision and let Carlos know through text.We had to go the finance route and signing up for that process was painless and quick.At this point is was Friday late night. He had to wait to get confirmation from the bank about our approval and that would be on Monday.On Monday I let him know that an ideal day for us would be Thursday. He said that he and his team would be here between 8 and 9 am. They were here right on time! The whole process ended around 430pm. One of the workers gave me a quick rundown of the wall thermostat. It was great. They were great!Carlos came by the next day in the morning to check that the installation went smoothly.The process from beginning to end was easy and well use them again for sure!

    We have a two-story home with a dedicated A/C unit for each floor. In July, we had Air Systems replace the 20+ year old 4-ton downstairs A/C unit with a modern 17 SEER unit. We love it so much, we hired Air Systems again to replace the 2.5-ton A/C unit for the upstairs. The upstairs unit was also over 20 years old, broke at least once every summer (without fail) and even though it was supposedly fully charged, never cooled the upstairs properly. We hadn’t planned on replacing it so soon after the 4-ton unit but we appreciate the quality of the Trane unit (so quiet and efficient) and the expert installation of the Air Systems team so much, we went for it. This replacement was no different than the first. Very well done the first time and our upstairs area is now as cool as the downstairs. Also, please note that I arranged for 3 quotes from different A/C installation companies the first go around and Air Systems was definitely more competitive, especially in regards to value. This time, I saw no need for an additional round of competitive quotes for the 2.5-ton unit. My wife and I now have peace of mind knowing these units will operate as designed and if there is a problem, Air Systems is here to resolve it.

    The technician, David, was extremely kind and more than professional. He was more than happy to answer our questions and address our concerns. In the situation where a part needed to be replaced in our air conditioning unit, he asked for permission prior to continuing with the labor and even showed us the part and why it needed to be replaced.My only possible complaint would be the arrival time of the technicians; they were running a few hours behind schedule. However, they maintained contact with us throughout the day so we were able to adjust our schedule.     So far, we could not be happier with our choice of our new Trane Heat Pump and with choosing Air Systems to install the system.- Why we chose the Trane XV18 (3 Ton model).- Our house was built 34 years ago and we have been the owners for 10 years. The original two Trane heat pumps have run very well during our time but the larger unit began to leak Freon (R22) so it was time to consider a new system and given our experience with Trane reliability, the brand was high on our list.- It has been difficult to find unbiased measures on what system is best on the web. Everyone has their opinions. We relied on the Consumer Reports reviews and found that American Standard and Trane (now owned by the same company and built in the same factory) to be rated the highest.- We paid extra for the XV18 not only for the increased SEER efficiency but also the quiet operation and how the variable compressor and fan can precisely hold any temperature you set it to.- NOTE: This is not an inexpensive model. We do expect a reasonable return on our investment in electric bill savings but also feel that it will be a good selling point if/when we decide to sell the house.- Why we chose Air Systems to install our Trane System- I read that it is prudent to get at least 3 estimates. I ended up getting 5 (with Air Systems being the last): three estimates for companies that installed Trane Systems, one that installed American Standard and one who installed American Pride (A Goodman/Amana Company)- One of the first estimates was from Jon Wayne Service Company. Jon Wayne only installs American Pride Brand Heat Pumps. Goodman and Amana are rated pretty low in Consumer Reports but I received a “Half-Off” equipment coupon in the mail so I thought I would at least get an estimate and if the savings was significant enough, I would consider using them. They seemed thorough in checking out the house and had a very polished sales pitch but in the end, to our surprise, even with the coupon their estimate ended up being by far the highest for a similar sized system that was rated one of the lowest in reliability.- Champion AC installs Trane systems and I noticed they had a remarkably similar sales approach to Jon Wayne (a visual tiered system that seemed to make upselling easy). The price estimate seemed high (ended up over $5,000 more than I paid to Air Systems for the exact same system). I guess high frequency radio and TV marketing and Spurs sponsorship costs a pretty penny.- Had two other estimates. The American Standard guy never even left the ladder to look at the existing system (located in the space above our second floor kitchen) and gave me an estimate that was crazy high. The last estimate was low in price but the estimator missed a few challenges that the others pointed out with the install (size of new system would not have fit in the footprint of the old system and would require it to be completely reconfigured with new ductwork).- I was starting to get extremely frustrated. I started to scrutinize the reviews more and really liked the honesty, responsiveness and quality of work reflected in the reviews for Air Systems. I sent a text to Air Systems and within a few minutes I received a call from Mr. Carlos Jimenez (I believe he is the Co-Owner of the company) and we scheduled a time for him to come out. Carlos came out to look at our old system and sent us estimates based on different SEER levels. The estimates were good and we felt that Mr. Jimenez showed us the pride of a business owner and not a salesman.- In conclusion, we could not have been happier which our choice of system and the installer. The workmen were friendly, hardworking and left the house cleaner than when they came. Big enough company to be able to handle the job efficiently (they had 4 trucks at times to our house during the 2 ½ day install) but small enough to have the company owner checking in a few hours every day to make sure things were being done right.

    FINALLY!!! Air conditioning and heating companies are a dime a dozen here in San Antonio so you really have to do your due diligence in finding the right company you can trust with fair pricing and great service. Well, Air Systems is the one to go with. Trust me, Ive called around and worked with numerous companies since living in my home for the past 10 years. The thing you cherish the most in your home during Texas summers is your air conditioning system and that it is working properly but unfortunately ours gave out. Supposedly, the outside unit was leaking and the indoor unit coil gave out at the same time. I spent a week with a leaking non working unit trying to get different opinions in diagnosis since I was told two different things by different companies. Every two days I had to get it recharged with freon. Every year or every other year it seemed something would go wrong with our AC so I got fed up and decided to bite the bullet and get a whole new complete system. So, I shopped around for pricing. I received or asked for five different bids from different companies and the price range varied greatly. Its amazing the price differences or quotes you can get from all these companies. Basically, they can all charge whatever they want and its up to us as a consumer to do our research. Be wary for the companies that only work with one brand and recommend that brand only. A good company will not only be willing but familiar in working with all brands and not push a particular brand for you to purchase. Im sure the ones that do get a discount or kick back for selling that brand but dont usually pass that discount to the consumer. Finally, I was tired of calling around and having specialists from different companies come by my house and give me different prices and recommend their brands so I made one last call. As luck would have it I called Air systems. Spoke with Mr. Jimenez and explained my situation and frustration and he came by on a Sunday morning since I couldnt wait any longer. He listened to my situation and I explained to him what I wanted. He didnt try to upsell me or push me with a certain brand. He was professional and told me he would email me a quote in a couple hours which he did. I read his reviews and they were spot on. His price for a new TRANE heating and cooling system outbid everyone by a mile. His crew came by a couple days later and installed everything. It is working like a champ. Mr. Jimenez and his crew are the best!! Very professional, knowledgeable, great prices compared to most, honest, prompt, and not pushy. All my calls or texts were answered in a timely manner and they left my house clean and picked up after themselves. No need for anyone to go elsewhere for your ac and heating needs because Air Systems is the business you can trust. My wife and I are very very happy with our new system and very happy that we no longer have to look around for a trustworthy company. I dont usually rave or rant on reviews but I felt it necessary to give Air Systems kudos and a FIVE star recommendation to everyone.

    When we first learned we needed to replace our two HVAC units, we searched for a reliable and reputable company. After doing our due diligence, we determined Air Systems was a company we could trust based on all of the reviews posted by their customers. We contacted Carlos Jimenez with Air Systems and met with him at our home. Carlos was very patient with us by answering all of our questions and explaining the several options we had for replacing our two HVAC units. Once we had narrowed down which option we wanted, Carlos provided us with a very professionally produced detailed document with the costs for each unit along with the additional options we selected such as an upgrade to the air filtering system and an attic stair tent. The document Carlos presented to us included a turn Key price for everything, and there were no hidden charges when the work was completed.The removal of the old HVAC equipment and the installation of the new went extremely well with very little disturbance to our family. During the removal of the old equipment, there were a couple of things that needed to be corrected from when the original units were installed by our home builder. Carlos saw to it that these discrepancies were corrected at no additional cost to us. The two individuals (Mark and Mike), who did all of the work replacing our HVAC units, need to be recognized for the professional work they did. They were extremely careful removing the old equipment by laying down protection to cover the wood floor and carpeting. They were also very careful not to mark any of the interior walls. Both of our units are located upstairs with one being in the attic. At the end of each day, they would clean up leaving the work area immaculate.The bottom line is, we are completely convinced Air Systems is the best Air Conditioning Company in town. Because of our complete trust and confidence in Air Systems, we intend to continue services with the company by participating in their semi-annual maintenance program. We feel confident that with their highly trained technicians our two new HVAC units will last us a very long time.
