    Im a landlord and my tenant had texted that the AC wasnt working. I called Air Of Houston on Sunday and they could have come out on that day, but the cost was higher than if they came on Monday, so I chose Monday. They came to the property and called to inform me about the leak and the expense for fixing, but my unit is a 2009 and that I have gotten my use out of it, so I decided for a whole new unit. He put the coolant in for my tenants until the very next day they installed the new unit. They were very efficient and my tenants were happy to have the cold air. I dont have pictures because Im stuck at home with a boot on right foot and knee scooter.

    We recently purchased a whole-house generator from Air of Houston. In response to my call to their office for someone to come conduct a site visit, David Bunch came to our house. David was friendly and knowledgeable and conducted a thorough site visit and explained in detail the process of installing the generator, including trenching to install a gas line from our gas meter to behind the garage where the generator would be placed. He then prepared a written quotation. Compared to more expensive quotations we had received, Davids quote was reasonable and acceptable to us. We accepted his quote the next day. David immediately ordered our generator and it came in within a few days. His crew that delivered and spotted the generator, his crew that dug the gas line trench, and his electrician who connected up the generator were all friendly and efficient in their work. David had the generator completely installed and working in less than three weeks from the time he ordered it. We are very pleased with the generator and the good customer service we received from Air of Houston. We recommended them to a friend who wanted to purchase a generator and we will do business with them again.

    Ive been using Air of Houston for over 10 years and am very satisfied. Their prices are competitive and their services are outstanding. I have bought 2 units from them and subscribe to their maintenance plans. When we had a hard freeze a few years ago, a pipe burst in the garage, and they came out right away to repair it. When weve had a problem with the A/C during a heat wave, they cane right out to fix it. That type of commitment and responsiveness is hard to come by these days. If I could give them 10 stars. I would.

    David and crew installed a stand by home Generac generator. From beginning to end it was an excellent experience! All details were taken care of in a timely and efficient manner. The whole crew, installation, plumber and electrician were professional and knowledgeable. They explained all steps of the process and answered any questions we had. At the end of the process, David called to make sure everything had gone smoothly. We will continue to use this company for all our generator needs.I highly recommend David and his company!

    David and his Air of Houston team were professional, honest, knowledgeable, and prompt from start to finish (LESS THAN ONE WEEK, after hurricane Beryl, from calling to schedule a consultation to complete installation) for my Generac generator install.At the consultation, David did a detailed walkthrough of the installation, maintenance requirements, pricing, and then answered all of my many questions thoroughly. He was quick to suggest testing the viability of using an existing capped off gas lineā€”an option that saved me a lot of money. His plumber who preformed the gas line test and electrician who completed the installation followed suit with being professional and prompt.The communication from the Air of Houston office was stellarā€”they followed through with call backs, accommodated a schedule change, and kept me apprised of the timeline for the week.

    I am a long-time customer of Air of Houston. The reason is simple...they consistently do excellent work for a fair price. This time, the AC suddenly stopped working. It was Friday. Who shows up after 7:00 pm? David, the owner. His people were so busy that he got in a truck and came out to help, instead of me waiting another day without AC. The problem was a blown capacitor. Initially, that seemed strange to me, because the capacitor was only a month old. However, my pool pump also had a blown capacitor at the exact same time. David explained that it was probably a power surge that got both capacitors. That made total sense, because of power problems in my area from Hurricane Beryl. The failed capacitor was under warranty, so the part was replaced no charge. But, David refused to accept payment for the service call/labor, even though I offered. In summary, the owner comes to my house late on a Friday and fixes my AC for free, when he could have been home eating dinner and sending a technician to my house the next day. That is why I am a long-time customer.

    This is a company you can genuinely trust - a rarity among HVAC companies these days. They were able to help me very quickly, they did not try to rip me off, and best of all, they truly listened to me! I admitted to them up front that i watched several YouTube videos and attempted some repairs myself and rather than making me feel like a novice, they trusted me took everything that I shared with them into account. I donā€™t recommend that anyone attempts to take AC diagnostics and repair into their own hands - itā€™s extremely dangerous! But i do recommend that you call this company first and donā€™t waste time with others if your ac quits working, stops cooling, sounds funny, or if your fan wonā€™t turn on, or you think you need more coolant/freon. They respond fast, prices are reasonable, and they are friendly.

    The owner, Dave, came out and did a thorough inspection of what was needed and recommended. Ive already had others estimate and was not impressed. Dave asked who they were and knew the price range. The air of the Woodlands was $5K less!! Professional crew that kept the house clean during installation and cleaned up after they were finished. Highly recommend.

    Air of Houston did a great job replacing our HVAC System that went out during Hurricane Beryl. Called them on Tuesday and they replaced the Air Handling Unit in the attic and the outside Condenser Unit the next day, Wednesday.

    Ive had two experiences with Air of Houston. I gained Davids contact via referral last year. They came out when my system stopped working the next day, to recharge. This year, the outdoor unit finally gave up. David and his team helped me out within two days with the inspection, and ultimately accommodated a full system replacement the next day over the weekend.I cannot express the appreciation for short notice support and the quality of installation by his guys.

The install crew was very professional and respectful of our house, making sure they cleaned up everywhere they had to go before they left.     When we first purchased our air conditioning unit through Air of Houston a few years ago, we were unsure what we were up against. They walked us through the process from beginning to end and we never looked back. We are extremely satisfied with the unit and the service that Air of Houston continues to provide year over year. Their service technicians are friendly and extremely knowledgeable about their product and the services. Each year we continue to call them back for our summer and winter checks to make sure our system is functioning properly and efficiently.     I have an ancient 1995 rheem air conditioner (its 2022 at the time of this review). I do all of the simple repairs myself, but yesterday I stupidly ran a screw that was too long through my outdoor condenser reinstalling the service panel. You live and you learn. My neighbor recommended David; he and Kolton came out and brazed the copper tubing to seal the puncture, then recharged the system with r22. David was honest about the age of my system, yet he didnt try to pressure me into replacing it, he left that decision to me. David also offered to recharge with a more cost effective drop-in refrigerant r407c instead of the expensive r22; I opted for r22 but I really appreciate being given options. Anyhow, this is my first time having AC repair guys at my house after years of DIY service and David/Kolton were terrific. Its 97 degrees outside, but my thermostat is reading 69 despite a twenty seven year old air conditioner. Not bad! David and Kolton were very polite and professional. I will absolutely call these folks when its time to put in a new unit. I couldnt be more satisfied.

    Ill start this review by saying that Im so very glad I called them when my AC went out on a Saturday. By the time David arrived, by the way he arrived with his luggage still in his truck coming straight from the airport. David jumped right into the issue at hand. He diagnosed the first of the issues very quickly and had the offending part replaced. After the part was replaced another issue was found. David quickly diagnosed this issue as an issue with my generator system. The contactor was defective. He quickly found a new one on his truck and had it replaced. The AC came to life. Now as an engineer and six sigma trained, I can really appreciate his trouble shooting and problem solving ability. Air of Houston has a long term customer at this home.They are my go to AC repair crew. One more thing. Davids wife answers the phone and is so very pleasant. Good People.

    Incredible service! David was a recommendation from our neighbors. Weā€™ve been jealous of their super quiet units for a couple years now. Then our AC unit from 1997 finally died, and we decided to upgrade the entire thing. David listened to what our needs were and made three different recommendations based on price point. He wasnā€™t pushy at all! We made the decision and he had the installers scheduled for the next Monday.They worked so quickly and so efficiently! They kept me informed the entire way and gave me a full tour and tutorial of all the work that was done.     Our air conditioner was not cooling for 2 days, on the second day when I called Air of Houston they were able to come same day within the hour. They found that the unit was caked with dirt ect.. and once they cleaned out the unit our house started to cool instantly. They were very professional and found the issue quickly.     Dave was wonderful. We had 6 quotes all recommended similar units. However, Dave was more informative on the discussions and came across as the one to trust. He came in, examined our old system, and gave us a quote based on what we were looking at, as far as systems go. There was NEVER A ā€œwell I can discount this and drop this to get you a good priceā€ as we had with some other companies that came out. He gave us the rock bottom price from the start after telling us about the MFG rebates and the energy rebate.Now let me tell you about the install.. High Class just like David! The crew came out, on time, which is always appreciated! They kept a clean work area and also was very informative about our new system. They involved us on any changes and we respect that..because we knew what was going on every step of the install. They were in and out in 1 day. We would highly recommend Air of Houston!     After our A/C went out (on a Sunday night), I did a quick search online, checking reviews for HVAC companies & decided Air of Houston stood out from the crowd. Called first thing on Monday, & they were at the house later that afternoon. The problem was quickly diagnosed & could be fixed, but the obvious age of our system started the conversation of replacement options. Dave gave the options he could offer & we settled on a system that was a good upgrade for us. There was no hard sell, just a matter of fact presentation and discussion. They did a quick repair to help us be comfortable before the new unit could be installed. 2 days later the crew showed up on time, gave us an idea of what they would be doing, & got right to work-very professional & friendly. Took about 7 hours & they were done. Couldnt tell they had ever been here, except they left my garage cleaner than it was before. Also, we had A/C we could depend on. Should anyone ask, it would be our pleasure to recommend Air of Houston handle their HVAC needs. The reviews were the real deal!

    We have used Air of Houston for 12 years and will continue to do so. Our first experience was when we bought our first house and the A/C stopped blowing cold in the dead of summer. The company that installed the unit on a brand new house advised that they could not get there until morning as it was after hours. Not only did Air of Houston come out that night but it was David the owner and another technician. They found it was low on freon. They put some in and then proceeded to check out the entire unit from outside to in the attic. He was kind enough to only charge me for the freon and not an after hours call because he was near by from another call and I can only assume he saw how stressed out I was. We have used them every since for our preventative maintenance. We sold that house and upon completion of our new home, I called Air of Houston to see if they would inspect the work on our new home. He could of sent an employee but he personally came out and spent a solid hour or so reviewing the work. He complimented the work of the other company and assured me we were ok. We will continue to use their services for regular maintenance to get the most out of our system. Thank you David and thank you to their office staff as they always go above and beyond for our needs. They treat us like we are family and not just a regular Joe..

    Air Of Houston installed a complete new 5 ton American Standard air conditioning system in my home. Work was done on time and to my complete satisfaction.     Air of Houston took us from being frantic to calm when our 20-year-old American Standard decided it couldnt keep up with 2022 hot summer.I had two other repair men out from two other companies. The first replaced the capacitor and the old girl worked for about 6 hours. Called that company back and they said they would send someone in the morning to give us options for a new machine. EEK!Called the second company that I had left a message with earlier that day and told them what the outcome was from the first company. They promptly sent out their best technician. He hosed down the compressor and hit it with a wrench to get it to unlock. Told me to run it on the lowest setting because if might NOT start again. EEK! then showed me options for a NEW AC unit.Well, I was dumbfounded! I reached out to my friends; Air of Houston was recommended by a person that was very particular on who they use. So, I called Air of Houston for a bid the next day to get my AC changed.The next morning the first company came out and tried to get us to but their AC system one I didnt even know the name of. My old maintenance guy that was out of the country said NO!The Lennox dealer never called in the morning like he was supposed to.Then David from Air of Houston arrived with his apprentice. Remember he was here to give me a bid to REPLACE my machine. He asked if he could see the unit. What did I have to lose? Of course, you can see the unit.The man proceeded to FIX the unit! and TESTED it to make sure it would restart by pulling the breaker. No one replaced the starter kit. I was impressed to say the least. He said, I bought you some more time. Yes he did! He took me out to reactive mode to active mode where I could think. He did leave a bid with me. But I never sign right away. I wanted to look for options. Had another company coming later that afternoon to give another bid.Finally heard from the Lennox and he was going to email me a proposal. Never got it, found out later he sent it to the wrong email.The fourth company came out. His prices were way higher than anyone elses. Being kind he suggested I call another company that had a Trane 18 with 10 years PARTS and LABOR warranty. I did. I could get it install the NEXT day! but I didnt know anything about this company.I called David at Air of Houston. I had already decided I wanted to do business with this company that really could FIX my machine. Also knew I was on borrowed time with my AC. Told him about the TRANE 10 P&L warranty asked if he could MACTH the deal. He thought about it and said yes. I really expected him to tell me to go with the other company but was very happy he didnt.I told him he had the job! and to let me know when he could install it. After all I didnt need it the NEXT day any longer my old girl was working like a champ! Did you know American Standard IS the highest ranked AC right now for 2022?The story doesnt end here. One the morning of the install I called and asked if I could upgrade to the Platinum 20 and what would be the price difference. He checked to see if he could get it and the price. Done Deal - She is in my backyard. She purrs!The installation team was very professional, neat and respectful. what service used to be like. We agreed that there was misunderstanding and arrived at a compromise.My confidence in Air Of Houstons integrity is restored.On June 20, 2022, I purchased a 4-ton, 18 Seer, American Standard air conditioning unit from Air of Houston. The sales team indicated that there would be a $2,000 rebate. They stated that the price was X and there was a $2,000 rebate. They did not say that due to sales incentives offered by the manufacturer and electric supplier, the price is reduced to X. By definition, a rebate is a credit paid to a buyer of a portion of the amount paid for a product or service.While agreeing to the sales package I commented to the onsite salesman that the $2,000 rebate would be used to repay some of my financed amount. I went on to asked him if we should complete the rebate forms? I also asked how long it would be before I received the rebate? He replied that someone at the office would take care of completing and submitting the rebate forms and they would contact me in a few days regarding the timing of the rebate. This conversation was witnessed by my wife.I was never contacted about the rebate. As a result, I phoned Air of Houstonā€™s office several times. I was told that the Field Supervisor would have to answer rebate questions. He was to return my call.Following one or more additional calls to the office, the supervisor, David Bunch, finally returned my call. He stated that there was a misunderstanding and that there was no rebate. He went on to indicate that he wanted to ā€œmake it rightā€ and would set an appointment to come by, review the installation and see if he could reduce the cost. Of course, any reduction other than $2,000 would be less than satisfactory. Despite additional phone calls, several weeks have passed and this meeting has still not materialized.While I am pleased with the installation and performance of the American Standard air conditioning unit, I am displeased with what I consider deceptive sales practices. Not only was the $2,000 rebate offered in the sales pitch but reinforced by the salesman in my home by his comments and answers. The comments and answers of the onsite salesman coupled with the subsequent unrealized review meeting seems to indicate deliberate deception on the part of Air of Houston.What they say and what they do seem to be different things.

    This company is AWESOME! We first came across them while getting a second opinion on an AC issue. They came out quickly and were on time. They gave us a quote (cheaper than the first option) and had very common sense solutions to some of the issues instead to telling us we needed to spend tons of money. We switched over to them right away as our primary AC/Heating company. They have done regular maintenance work on our systems ever since.     I initially chose this company because of location and their good Google reviews. I have used their preventative maintenance contract to service the unit and ensure we donā€™t have any failures with my builder-grade AC unit. The techs have always been kind and friendly and Sandra has been professional on the phone. Realistically, no company can maintain 100% customer satisfaction indefinitely because the better they are, the greater chance they will come across unreasonable cheapskates who want free work. This is how they make their living, from sales, to labor and the like. Donā€™t leave them a bad review just because they canā€™t be talked down on price.

    My A/C stopped putting out cold air. I called Air Of Houston and spoke to Brenda. It was after 4pm and she couldnt get anyone out until the next day. She said it would be between 8am - 12 noon and she would call first. Brenda called at 9:30am the next day and said a technician was on the way. Pete showed up at 10am and checked my outside unit and then went into the attic to check the main A/C unit. He said the compressor had been knocked offline due to the heavy storm we had the day before. He checked my entire system and said everything was back on and the system was working fine. I was able to use one of their coupons and was only charged $69.95 for a system check.I was impressed with the quality of service and the professionalism of both Sandra and Pete. They said what they would do and they did it! So many times I have had people not show up when they said they would or flake out entirely. Also, Pete was honest and efficient. I would highly recommend this company to anyone and will call them again if needed.

    Four years ago Air of Houston repaired one of my AC units and replaced the other AC/furnace and hot water heater. Today, Paul came out and serviced both AC units and found a leak in one unit, which they will repair at no charge. The best thing about Air of Houston is that they take care of their customers. About 2 years ago I found Air of Houston, and now theyā€™re the only company I call.Hereā€™s my experience. This company is fairly small, and theyā€™re not just trying to get more and more trucks on the street. Those companies arenā€™t typically not honest, simply trying to make more money.This week our only AC unit failed (outside condenser fan gave out). Since itā€™s been 100 degrees for a few weeks, this was kind of an emergency situation. The fan motor we need is unavailable, and the manufacturer has no idea when theyā€™ll have one. By the wayā€¦this is a warranty repair.As we talked about my options, Sandra then David talked with me. One option was to buy a new outside unit (all of the stuff). David almost begged me to not do that, and helped me arrive at a good and cost effective temporary (yet dependable) solution until my warrantied replacement motor is available.     We have been loyal customers for 20 years since they installed the A/C in a garage apartment when we bought the house. They replace the unit in the house two years later and have been maintaining it since. They just installed a newer more efficient unit, new heater and all the original duct work with a new dual zone system. They completed all that work in a day and a half leaving the house spotless and the carpet vacuumed. Whenever we have had to call for service, they always come out the same day, even on weekends. If they werenā€™t able to fix the issue right away, they would bring portable units to keep the house cool until they could get back the next day.     Air of Houston is an excellent A/C repair and installation company. We first used them several years ago based on a recommendation from a close neighbor who we trust. Air of Houston had been servicing our neighborā€™s A/C units for years and eventually installed a new unit when their old unit failed. Our friends passed them on to us with a very glowing reference and now we want to do the same.Our house was built in 2001 and the two A/C units were original to the house when we purchased it in 2012. We called Air of Houston on several occasions when the units were not cooling. They responded quickly to our calls (same day and usually within just a few hours). They were able to get the units cooling with the addition of Freon and stretched out their life expectancy a few more years. The larger unit made it until 2016 and the smaller unit made it until this month (April 2017). We really appreciated how Air of Houston serviced the units and did not try to immediately sell us new ones. They were able to get the maximum life out of the unitā€¦.having A/C units make it for 15+ years is excellent, especially in Houston.They worked very closely with us on the purchase of the new units. We had a lot of questions and wanted to make sure we were making sound choices for such a large purchase. The owner, David, came out and explained everything in detail and provided good guidance for us. He is not pushy and really wants you to be a satisfied customer. We chose a higher end unit to service the 2nd and 3rd floors of our townhome and a smaller, more standard unit to service the 1st floor. The new units have been awesome. The house is cooling nicely and the humidity level is perfect. The higher end unit does just about everything (but cook my breakfastā€”Iā€™m first on the list to get that unit when available! Ha!). Some key features include: ability to select a specific humidity level; lots of programmable settings; can be linked to your phone for remote access; provides usage readings to help control costs. Our electric bill has significantly decreased since the installation of the unit last year and I expect the same for the new unit installed this month.Installation was handled very professionally and timely. The guys were customer service focused and worked very hard to ensure proper installation. The guys had their work cut out for them with a 3 story townhouse that has a very small attic and lots of stairs! The owner came out immediately after installation to check the system and go through the features with us. Again, strong customer service focus from the owner all the way through the organization.They also offer no interest financing for larger purchases. We took advantage of that on the high end large unit.If you want fast, friendly, competent A/C service, Air of Houston is the business to call. We have always felt like they took great care of us and delivered a quality product and quality service.     On Monday I got home from work and it was 85 degrees in my house. Ive only been in my house for a week now, so naturally I panicked. My home warranty was worthless and couldnt guarantee me a time they could come back. I have young children in my house and theres no way we could have slept with the house that hot. I called Air of Houston on a whim and they were super helpful and out in less than 2 hours. Once out, all that was wrong was a flipped breaker. He flipped it and my AC came right back on. He was out for less than 5 minutes and chose not to charge me their service fee. He was at my house at almost 9pm at night, on super short notice, he easily could have charged me the much deserved fee, but didnt.     Imagine 101 degrees out. Your A/C is blowing but not cold. Imagine now that the temps are not to fall below 100 degrees for several days. Now imagine itā€™s Friday around lunch and the temperature in your house as already risen 10 degrees in four hours. I didnā€™t t have to imagine it because it happened to me. I called several companies, which Iā€™m sure do a great job, and the earliest anyone would come out wasnā€™t until the following Tuesday. In fear of becoming a dried prune I called Air of Houston. The young lady was very nice on the phone and to be honest she seemed more worried about me than I was. She was upfront and told me she would do her best to get someone out but it could be pushed to Saturday, so no promises. No sooner than me getting my portable A/C unit hooked up in my bedroom the phone rang and the young lady told me that she had a tech on his way. WOW!!! So then the doorbell rings and a young man introduced himself as Pete and he saved the day. It took Pete all of about 15 seconds to diagnose the issue and all of about 5 minutes to walk back to his truck, get the part and have me running. I forced Pete to take a bottle of water as he wrote up the ticket and he was very polite and respectful of my home. He did inform me of the cost before he completed the work by the way, so no surprises at the end. I can honestly say that I will be calling upon Air of Houston in the future, hopefully not the near future, but whenever I need HVAC repair for sure.

    This review is coming straight from a first-time homebuyer who was blessed to purchase an older semi-renovated single family home. Long story short, we are happy and thankful to have our home but with an older home comes older home issues.This summerā€™s issue occurred when our air conditioner decided to begin its slow death in the middle of Houston-August when the temperature was around 147-degrees if I remember correctly. We tried having friends of friends come over and service the unit, as well as purchase 100plus dollars worth of fans for the house but the Houston-August heat continued to be disrespectful.So we realized that we would need to start the process of trying to locate an AC Company to provide us with a diagnostic and a quote to repair or possible replace our AC Unit. I had NO IDEA that the next week would be so mentally exhausting!! I swear, I have never had so many USED CASH CAR SALESMAN in my presence in such a short amount of time! It was really a disappointing and disheartening experience to have so many people from the bigger ā€œreputableā€ companies come in and blatantly lie to my face about the amount of work I needed to have done. Let them tell it, I needed to throw the whole house away or at least set up financing to purchase the equivalent of a KIA Soul to fix my AC.I cannot stand disingenuous people and I felt like that was all I was coming in contact with. Just when I was about to give in and pick one of these Janky Salesmenā€™s companies, I decided to do a little more home work and call a few more people. That is when I came across Air of Houston. I called them and they set a date and time when they were supposed to come and they ACTUALLY came at that time and date (take notes ARS)! Mr. David showed up personally to come and access the situation, and I exaggerate you notā€¦ he was THE ONLY person to tell me about my warranties on my current equipment. He took the time to explain the options to my wife and I as well as provide a VERY reasonable quote compared to the other folks who let flies in my house going in and out the front door before selling me a dream.Mr. David shot straight from the hip, and provided an old school ā€œhand shake and eye contactā€ feeling you donā€™t find with bigger companies who send their salesmen to your home to practice their script. He didnā€™t, ā€œcall his manager to see if they could go down on the priceā€ like the others didā€¦ All he did was come in and tell me what he found to be the problem, explain what he believed to be the best rout to take in order to fix it, and follow through with the agreement by providing prompt and professional service! I canā€™t say enough about how much I appreciated my experience with Air of Houston and Mr. David. I just wish I had made the call sooner so I could have saved myself the headache and a few flies in the house.     Air Of Houston did a spectacular job of replacing our 16-year old electric HVAC with a new gas HVAC system which failed on the evening of 1/1/2021. David came to the house on morning of Saturday, 1/2/2021. The new installation included the removal of the old system, relocating and installing the new system, installation of zone dampers, new ducts and installation of new thermostats.I felt assured of their professionalism as the the first thing they did was to protect my home by putting floor protection from the front door, up the stairs, down the hall well beyond the attic access.The team in the attic did their jobs quietly and efficiently - I work from home and they were right above my head. I never had to ask them to lower the noise even though I was on conference calls most of the day. They did this all while wearing masks due to Covid-19 - I never saw any of them working in the house without their mask on.I have been using Air of Houston for my HVAC maintenance for years and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. I would highly recommend them for both maintenance and installation/upgrade projects.

    They have very qualified technicians that were able to diagnose the problem (circuit board that had a component ā€œfriedā€ in a lightning storm), do a temporary solution/fix so the A/C would run until a replacement board could be sourced and procured, installed the replacement board and got it working correctly. They didnā€™t try to sell a modern unit just to make more money. I would recommend them to others.

    Air of Houston did a great job with the service of my air conditioner. I would like to express my appreciation towards Donnie. Not only was he attentive of my concerns about my A/C but he went above and beyond and made certain that I was taken care of. During the service a leak in the unit continued that caused minimal amount of damage to the ceiling. Donnie assured me that the damage would be repaired immediately. The ceiling was taken care of and I couldnt tell where the leak had occurred. The air conditioner is cooling off great and I couldnt be more pleased. I highly recommend them.

    Pete came out and diagnosed the problem with my AC and then soon after that Scott arrived with parts in hand. My A/C was quickly fixed and works well. The overall experience was generally much better than numerous other companies i have dealt with in Houston over the last 20 years.     These guys are great. They were able to come out after hours for a second option and saved me over $12k by replacing a small part instead of total replacement of the whole system like the first company told me I had to go. I deducted one star, only because they failed to leave me with any printed instructions for the new thermostat they installed. I called the office about this several times but never got a return call. Not a huge deal....I may be able to get instructions online, however, a return phone call would have been appreciated - especially after service that was in all respects excellent.

    Being referred to air of Houston not only got my ac fixed within 2 hours but it also saved me 580 dollars that A plus air was trying to charge for 10 things that were wrong. Funny thing is joe with air of Houston came out and found the root cause of the other ten problems and after a 10 minute fix my ac was running like a champ!! Their card is on the fridge and I told my wife you can take anything off the fridge except this card!! Awesome service in split second time!!
