    My house was built in 2018 and Advent Air installed my HVAC system so I have used them to service my system over the years. An ongoing issue of my AC unit struggling when the temps got up to mid-high 90s was finally diagnosed ...... Ive owned several different homes over the years and have never had this bad of an experience with an HVAC company.Edit: Advent Air reached out to me and worked with me to make things right. I appreciate that Advent is striving to improve and is being accountable so I have changed my review to 4/5 stars. Given the positive outcome, I can recommend them going forward!

    AJ did a very thorough job today with his 6 month maintenance. He diagnosed a potential problem and offered options to me. He replaced a part and noticed that our Generac system prevented the outdoor unit from starting right away. He stayed and didn’t accept payment until the outdoor unit started after the Generac delay. Well done!

    Appreciate the level of service but don’t appreciate the high labor costs. $100 part but $1300 in labor?? Just outside of warranty. This on top of needing an evaporator replaced on my other ac unit 2 years ago. Thought Trane was much better quality. Very disappointed.

    Great experience with technician AJ today. He was prompt, professional, knowledgeable, communicative, straightforward, and polite. He kept me informed as he maintained my 2 HVAC systems, taking pictures along the way, and he patiently answered all of my questions. He gave me a thorough analysis of what I now need to do for my system. He has great attention to detail, too! He even carried his water bottles out of my attic without any mention from me … while other technicians in the past have left their snack wrappers and beverage bottles in my attic insulation. I REALLY appreciate that quality of service and care for the customer’s home! After he completed a great job, I spoke to him about 2 minor preferences of mine. He took my comments with such grace and showed a genuinely mature attitude towards outstanding customer service. I will be asking for AJ the next time around!     Ive had a very positive experience with Advent Air. Daniel Martinez was the technician who came out to help with a diagnosis and repair of my air conditioning system and he had done an outstanding job. Daniel is detail oriented and demonstrates a focus on the quality of his work which is something I deeply appreciated. He was thorough in his analysis and was able to explain everything to me in the process as well. He was able to identify and fix an issue with the capacitor quickly and had also helped to fix a wiring issue from the original installation that had caused the condenser fan to run in the wrong direction. He was also very thorough in his analysis of the system in the attic as well to ensure that the air flow was working correctly. Everything on my air condition system is working really well again and I am glad that there are awesome technicians like Daniel who take such care in the quality of their work.

    Updated review: AC went out again from a different issues. This time around everything went much quicker and I got regular updates from Advent about the repair timeline.Original review: We recently had an AC outage and Advent was the first place that was able to send someone to look at our problem the same day. Everyone I spoke with on the phone was very polite and helpful. The tech that was working on our unit was also very nice. The only down side was the time and lack of communication. We ended up having to wait a week for a part to arrive (not including the 4th holiday) and then another day before the install. Just a quick update from the company about time lines or progress would have been very appreciated, we felt completely in the dark while we waited.

    Daniel was exceptional with this service maintenance of our advent air installed units. We have always been satisfied with our service however the level of service from Daniel was exceptional. He discussed preventative care and how to maintain our systems through ensuring proper drainage in our pipes, changing our filters and keeping up with our services.     I received multiple quotes for replacing my 24 year old ( still working ) HVAC and after comparing all of the suppliers, I chose Advent Air. Cris McCown spent the time to outline the complete duct system along with the return requirements that my home needed. He was very professional and obviously knew his way around an HVAC system. He recommended multiple upgrade to my duct system and return lines to improve the functionality of the new system.Installation day: I received a text message informing me of Jimmy’s arrival. Jimmy and his partner Q arrived and started removing the old unit and prepping the new replacement. About 2 hours later Cris arrived ( he had text me that he would be stopping by ). He ended up staying for at least 4 hours laying out and installing most of the duct upgrades he outlined in his initial quoted visit, from his hand drawn diagram. He also assisted with removing the units and lifting the new units into the attic. Much more then I would expect a sales/evaluator to perform but I’m sure the installation team appreciated the help.Jimmy and Q worked professionally to complete the installation along with installing the extra return line and upgrading the master bedroom vent. The installation was finished hours before the projected completion time. Even their cleanup and control unit demonstration was performed with the customer in mind.The only problem I have, is when moving the new equipment into the attic, both sides of the unit were scratched. I am sure that this didn’t affect the functionality but it was like getting your first scratch on a new car. You’ll get over it, eventually.This company and their teams are first rate and I would recommend them to anyone that is looking for HVAC service / replacement.Dave H.Corinth, TX

    Jayce performed the annual AC service on my two furnaces in a professional and friendly manner. He completed the work and then allowed me to test the backup generator I had installed in the fall to ensure both AC units would engage with the generator. They both did. He also took the time to explain the link up between the generator and AC and that a half hour delay in starting the affinity unit would be normal. Thanks.

    These guys are great! My ac was acting funky the night before so I found them based on a recommendation from my neighborhood facebook page. I could schedule an appointment online with incredible ease, got a text instantly confirming my appointment. The guys showed up a bit early which was awesome and were incredibly professional, nice, and helpful. They gave me some recommendations based on some things that were starting to surface but were not at all pushy, just very informative. Price is very reasonable for what they did - diagnostic, changing filters, thorough inspection etc. AC is working like a charm now in this brutal summer heat. I recommend!

    Update: when I went to sell discovered not all ducts were replaced. Section in back over bathroom had old torn ducts still. Called Advent this morning as the unit stopped working Sunday afternoon, and they were out here at lunchtime! Great response time, problem resolved and he changed out my air filters on all 3 units as well.A great bunch. Had them install 2 new 21 Seer units in 2017 and then fix a bunch of poor install work on my third unit from another vendor. High quality work. Fix problems without questions or the run around. A little more expensive than my last 2 contractors but the work quality is top notch

    From beginning to end, the team at Advent was absolutely great to work with. Unfortunately, the Carrier A/C that was delivered arrived defective from the manufacturer. When things go wrong though, the team at Advent absolutely did everything to make it right. Special thanks to Angel and Francisco - those guys were extremely professional and dedicated to getting the house cooled back down! When the defective unit was discovered, they stayed until 10pm to troubleshoot, and then returned the next day with a replacement unit and stayed late again until it was done.     It all started with a dead furnace on a cold morning. I contacted Advent Air Conditioning, which I already knew was a great company from past experiences. John L., my technician, responded the same day after Donna the dispatcher managed to work me in.To begin with, I was so impressed with Donna’s politeness and caring attitude. Then just a few hours later John L. called ahead of time to give me an eta. He arrived on time and ready to go. He put booties on his shoes to protect my carpets from any dirt and debris. He then began working and diagnosing the problem. A short time later he explained and even showed me what was wrong. The blower motor on the furnace had worn out and was no longer working. John then quoted me a fair price to replace the motor. When he finished he provided an invoice matching the quote. As I paid, we visited shortly and John is a very friendly, interesting, and knowledgeable guy. I will definitely use Advent Air Conditioning again when needed, and will refer them to all my family and friends!

    Great service. Advent had come out several times to service my Carrier Infinity systems. Advent was able to schedule immediate service and promptly repair the systems.     Advent Air installed a complete new system in my home in June 2017. From the first appointment with a Comfort Consultant I was extremely impressed. I researched all 3 companies in depth and based on the reviews and speaking with Cris on the plan to get this done, by far the best deal and most knowledgeable.Day of install was 2 teams that tackled the project.They spent a great amount of time preparing my home to ensure there would be no damage...Drop cloths everywhere. (Loved that!) They did not rush. Made sure we were happy with the prep.they cut in 2 return vents and two more vents and literally you could NOT tell they did anything in the rooms as the clean up was excellent!This was an all day event and once done, I figured there would be a mess upstairs for me to clean up and that was not the case. It was PERFECT - the floors were clean and you could not tell this had all just happened.Courteous, friendly, knowledgeable - the entire team from sales to install was a great experience. Vlas installed two new thermostats, did some troubleshooting and repaired a furnace power issue, and did maintenance work on the A/C and heating systems. Vlas kept his work area clean and was very personable. Vlas went over and beyond for us. We would definitely recommend advent air and will be using them in the future.

    Ben is one of the best technician who I really appreciate his great knowledges about A/C and Heating system at my home. Ben has done the great jobs in servicing and very kind and nice person. He did very throughout analysis and inspection on A/C at my home today. He also came outside under raining using the water hose to spray and clean my A/C surrounded and explained that the cleaning will help the A/C perform better. He also explain to me the recommendation for water flood control device that will shut the A/C off to avoid the flooding. I got it installed and feel safe from flooding. Thank you Ben.     My 17 year old AC died back in August. I found the receipt for that, and it was from Advent, so I chose to go with them again. Sarah helped set up a new AC and heating system for what I needed for my home. The guys installing the AC and the furnace with new duct work did a great job from beginning to the clean up. I hope my new stuff will last for at least another 17 years, but when it goes, Ill be depending on them again.

    We have been using Advent since 2001. We have always had excellent service from them. Our recent problem was a downstairs unit that was not cooling on Sunday afternoon. I called on Monday morning and was informed that the earliest they could be here was Tuesday at 3 p.m. The office called me a little later and advised they had an opening for Monday afternoon. The Technician later called to advise he was about 40 minutes away. They arrived on time and took care of the problem. I like the fact that when I call them they know that Im a returning customer and they make an extra effort to take care of us.Our unit stopped cooling last and David was here this morning to get us going. I cant say enough good things about this company.

    Terry was great! Advent Air was able to work us in at the end of a long, hot TX summer day. We had endured an uncomfortable nights sleep, and we really needed our AC fixed. Terry quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed the it fairly quickly. He explained that a part had failed and had the replacement part on hand to fix it.     Advent Air Conditioning has been servicing my AC units for several years on the spring and fall maintenance agreement. As my units reached the age where I needed to consider replacement I asked for a proposal of a single zone before replacing all 3 zones so that I could understand the process and limit my financial exposure in the event that the replacement equipment and installation was not satisfactory.Cris McCown is my Comfort Consultant and his response with the proposal and my barrage of questions were handled very quickly and professionally. The other well known contracting firm I was considering has still not responded to my request for a proposal after many promises and updates.We agreed on replacing the zone that services the master and study and the service techs, Miguel and Luis, were on time, in uniform, polite, articulate, and completed the installation in one day, although a long day for them which I attribute to the poor installation provided at the time the home was built.The installation exceeded my expectations and once complete, and although late in day, they wanted to review all of the work with me to insure my satisfaction.The expertise and professionalism of the entire team is amazing and we are now scheduling the installation for the 2 remaining zones.Thank you all for a job well done!.John K.Flower Mound

    Sarah was great. She came out to give us some recommendations on one of our A/C units that might be going out. It is 12 years old and had a leaky coil replaced 2 years ago. So I wasnt sure if it was wise to do another expensive repair. Sarah determined that the repair two years ago was made to the wrong unit. Mistakes happen but not everyone stands by their work. Advent is going to repair the correct unit at no cost to me.Sarahs diligence and thoroughness is saving me a lot of money. She recalled being at our house 2 years ago and pulled all her notes and records to get to the bottom of our problem. I am very happy with her and Advent Air.

    Praimesh is the tech who has been out to our place a couple times and he has treated us well both times with a great attitude and solid information.Sara came out to assess 2/3 of our current systems. She was willing to give us multiple cost and feature breakdowns for each option we have in replacing our units. She did this, all after spending time outside in 85 degree heat and a couple trips into the attic.Great reps have been sent our way. Highly recommended.

Ben is a confident technician who does an excellent job making sure all aspects of the system is working to peak performance in addition to his customer service skills are excellent.     Advent Air has been providing maintenance and care for the heating and air conditioning systems at my home in Frisco for more than 20 years – Thomas is the best.Recently I had the occasion to replace 3 furnace units and 2 air-conditioning units much of which had been in service since I bought the house in 1995.Thanks to Jeff Sutherland and to Miguel and his crew the entire process was performed most professionally.
