Abacus is such a wonderful and reliable company. I first used them a couple of years ago to install a water heater and they did a superb job. Just yesterday I had a complete AC installed by three hardworking personnel of the company, (same day install). I am amazed how efficient and diligent the staff worked, yet I am not surprised. They stand by teamwork and it shows in their work. I appreciated how I was kept informed of the installation process. The company took care to put their shoe protectors on and worked in a neat manner, for the flooring part of which they worked had been lined with floor protectors to control debris. The company took photos of before and after to assure me of their work and its outcome. And I am very pleased with the outcome.The work the three men did were impeccable and I am breathing fresh air again thanks to their hard work. Dont think twice about trying this company do it and you will be happy that you did. Thanks Abacus!

Absolutely amazing service.I don’t often leave reviews for ANYTHING but the service received today was impeccable.I previously used Pickett plumbing who was bought out by another company. I called them initially to clear my drain not only did they charge me a $80 trip fee. The person did not even look at my drain yet pulled out a clipboard with a minimum of a $1500 option.I only needed a clog cleared!I saw the commercial for the 49.99 drain clearing and decided to call you Abacus and I couldn’t have been more impressed.Mason by far Exceeded my expectations today. Not only did complete his job efficiently and effectively. He was very informative about how I can better care for my systems. I’ll be all Abacus from now on. You can count on me :)

An easy 5-star review. This is not the first job I have hired Abacus for my home. For today, Julio was fantastic. Professional with straight forward plan of action, taking into account my questions and concerns. It was a tricky fix in a tight space, but he completely nailed it without having to cut through the ceiling to get it done. Same-day service with great result. Everyone from Abacus that touched this job was outstanding from scheduling the appointment this morning, arranging for an earlier start time with customer service, to Julio getting a tough fix done quickly and professionally. I was even able to get my kids to soccer practice on-time amid it all. Awesome.I recommend Abacus plumbing without hesitation.

Outstanding customer service. I had a main line backing up onto my back patio on Super Bowl Sunday. I called them up and they answered the phone, after I told the my issue they informed me that they had an active coupon for $49.95 to clear a main line. I figured that I would be waiting for several days to get scheduled for a plumber, but to my relief they were at my house in 45 minutes. I showed them where the cleanout was and they got to work. They cleared my blockage and got everything flowing again. Now for the bill, $49.95!!!! this never happens. I gladly paid and thanked them for their professionalism. They made a bigger impression and better memory than the Super Bowl Game itself. I highly recommend this company.

My experience with Kenneth on Friday was beyond great. Im not a native to Houston but after the most recent hurricaine came thru the city last month, I knew it was a key priority to be ready by having a generator power inlet installed. Kenneth was patient, kind and very knowledgeable in answering various questions that I threw at him about the ideal location of outlet, safety features for new breaker panels, and dos/ donts with maintanance of portable generators. At the end of our conversation, Im glad I made the decision to upgrade my breaker panel in addition to the generator outlet. Jason Wells did a wonderful job of inspecting all my plumbing. He gave me prices for a new water heater and why I might need a new one and the suggested time frame for replacement. He also told me about the valve shut offs and why new ones would be something to consider. He gave me ball park prices and is planning to email me the exact prices with payment plans right away. He was honest without being pushy. He was kind and considerate and easy to talk to! He wore shoe covers inside my house the entire time he was here! He gets a 5 out of five rating from me! Uli was very thorough on my plumbing inspection and did a good job of flushing my water heater. I definitely feel secure knowing all my faucets and pipes passed well. I was disappointed to know that Abacus would charge about 340.00 to replace the toilet parts. I went to Lowe’s and purchased these parts for 25.00 and replaced them myself. I understand upcharging but not that much!!!

Abacus continues to deliver the best in quality, reliable service. We have used all their services (A/C and heating, plumbing and electrical) and it is consistent quality and priced very appropriately. You can depend on them. They dont try to upsell you. They explain the problem and give you options. I always feel that the technician is treating my problem as though it was his own and solving it like he would at his home. When there is an issue with what was delivered (you know, the price after the delivery seems high and it has only happened twice in 10 years of use), they listen explain, ask what is the resolution you are seeking and then strive to get you that resolution. In my past they got to 80% of what I was seeking; explained their rationale and then reminded me that they wanted my business going forward. I cant recommend them any higher than saying they are the best, try them, you will use them.

I was done with Abacus due to past practices of exorbitant pricing and the non response of the company to address my questions or the refusal of such. I had limited my communications with Abacus to the VIP program to simply maintain the warranty requirements for the equipment they had installed. My furnace inspection was due and Matthew Gray was the Abacus representative to complete this inspection. When I met Mr Gray, I was shocked when he asked me if my previous concerns had been handled. To me this meant he had reviewed my file prior to showing up and was genuinely concerned with the outcome. I explained to Mr Gray that my only association with Abacus was warranty issues only and that I would no longer be utilizing Abacus for anything other than warranty. Mr. Gray needed to inspect my AC/furnace as part of the VIP program. I knew from previous inspections my furnace was close to replacement and this was confirmed by Mr. Gray. To finish this story, Mr Gray gave me pricing for a new furnace with a gracious reduction in price AND corrections to the previous issues I could not get resolved. Mr. Gray single handedly saved Abacus from loosing a customer who had spent thousands with the company. I did install the new furnace and have restored my relationship with Abacus. Thank you Mr. Gray, for taking the time to restore my faith in this company.

My house was 90°, In about 4 hrs it was 73°I got the payment plan but its worth every penny, especially in Houston

This membership also ensures if I have to have them come out other than at the mentioned time I am priority . Although I considered the charge was too high for the job at first, but when I saw the dedication of the technician, Jesus, to doing an excellent job and what it involved, I realized the cost was worth it.I called Abacus mainly due to partially clogged bathroom sink that has an aircondition condensation line connected to it.The technician tried passing a camera and found the first clogging area. So he cleaned it with pressurized water jets. The water line stopped entering farther about 5’ into the pipe. He passed the camera again and used both the snake and water jets again and repeated using various types of jets until the water was flowing down without any portion backing up. He pushed the whole length of water jet line into the pipe and alternated with the camera until the pipe was clean. The job required few hours of continuous work using high quality equipment whether it was the camera, the water jet system or the electric snake.This is what I call dedication to doing the best job possible.I’m very pleased with work and the results. Thank you Abacus and thank you Jesus Valles.

I was having my washer and dryer delivered and installed when the installer noticed a leak from a valve over the water heater. I had to call a plumber. I saw how highly rated Abacus plumbing was and called it in. The operator was very professional and courteous. She gave me a window of time which a technician would contact me. Daniel Luke from Abacus called me within minutes. He told he would be here in no time. When he arrived he diagnosed the problems and got to work. From the time I placed the call to the time he began to work was less than 20 minutes. I cannot stress enough how excellent Daniel’s work was. He uncovered other problems and told me what to expect. Jason wells arrived on time to execut the plumbing review he was polite, knowledgeable and focused on the job. he pointed out a couple of minor issues and generally seemed to be helpful. unfortunately, when he left an estimate to replace a shut off valve with a 1/4 turn shut off. the estimate was for a little more than $270. this includes the installation as well as the new valve. i looked under the sink to find the current valve with dual out flows and a single inflow connections. a matter of two small wrenches to undo the connection nuts and reconnection of the new valve, a $15-$20 item.i am clearly not a qualified plumber but i think i can handle the project myself. if i try it imight run into trouble but the more important issue is can i trust Abacus to provide quality parts and service for a reasonable price should the need appear in the future.
