    We were ready for a new system after 12 years with Air Specialist and a system that they had installed and maintained every 6 months. We got offers from three other companies, including Air Specialist, and Steve at 32 below was by far the most knowledgeable, responsive, and honest of them all by a long shot. He was the 4th one to come and man was it a sigh of relief. He even did a detailed load calculation to accurately determine the size needed, which no one else did. Indeed, we were right on the border of the previous one being too small and overworked, and also had him widen one of the cold air returns to help with even air distribution in all rooms. We signed that day for a 4 ton 18 seer fully variable ac/gas heat system by American Standard. When we asked why he chose American Standard over the other top commonly used brands, he said, because their products are solid and they always immediately answer the phone. After install, we subsequently had him return to replace the 20 year old outdated air ducts with better ones. Steve doesnt do theYou must enroll in an every 6 month service plan to get the warranty garbage that Air Specialist did. He comes twice/year or whenever you need him, and he is always responsive and very generous with his time even though we arent in his zip code. He even helped us choose an electricity company when our contract was up for renewal. We went with Energy Ogre which is what he uses himself. We could not be more pleased. There are not many ac companies or small businesses that are like this anymore.

    Steve and his crew did an mazing job for us. We werent expecting to have to do AC work done during our remodel, but once we saw the condition of our existing duct work we knew we had to get it all replaced. 32 Below came out on a Sunday and quoted us for the work. Steve was able to get us on his schedule for that coming week to help us stay on track with our other contractors. Steve and his crew at 32 Below fixed all our AC issues quickly and professionally.     Steve is legit. He just left about two minutes prior to this writing and came for a regular preventative maintenance call. We found that the refrigerant was definitely low, not to mention that the coils were absolutely FILTHY. I had him top off the refrigerant (about 4lbs worth) and that in conjunction with the coil cleaning has made a noticeable improvement. Realistically, the condenser is not long for this world and Steve will be back out here again at some point to do a system replacement. We discussed what that would range so we can plan around it in the future and the price quoted is very fair, especially for the quality of components utilized.Steve is extremely friendly and very honest. Our dog came right up to him and began wanting to play fetch and Steve indulged her while talking with us about the system. Highly recommend him. You’re doing yourself a disservice to not at LEAST give him a call to see for yourself.

    Steve was recommended to me through a neighborhood group, and I called him when my AC wasnt cooling the house properly. He arrived that same day and was able to identify a leak. He spent a good amount of time checking various parts of my AC system and explaining to me and my husband what was going on. He was able to fix the leak and refill the refridgerant that same visit with reasonable prices. Would recommend and will be using him for any future issues!

This was a large job which included all new ductwork, cutting two new returns in the ceiling, a new thermostat, and building a raised hurricane-rated pad outside for the new unit.     QUALITY CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NOT COMPLETELY DEAD!My AC was starting to struggle and I saw an ad by 32 Below on one of my facebook community groups with a coupon for a $49.99 complete tuneup. I booked an appointment online for that Friday and immediately received an automatic reply from the web service followed by a personal text from Steve (who I later learned was the owner) confirming the appointment and stating that he would personally be coming out to perform this service.The next morning (Wednesday) I woke up to no AC at all and it was already 86 degrees in my living room. I texted Steve at the number he used to confirm my appointment asking him to please move me up to the next available appointment if possible. He called me back within 5 minutes! He was on another call fairly close by and promised he would stop by as soon as he was done and arrived about 2 hours later. He quickly diagnosed my problem and gave me several options from least to most expensive and he thoroughly explained the caveats of each option but at no time did he put any pressure on me.When the repair crew arrived, they were completely professional and it was obvious that they knew exactly what they were doing and it was also obvious they have been working as a team for a long time. They laid down floor coverings from the entryway to the attic entrance and left no signs any major work had even been performed here. They were also concerned about how the installation looked even though it is in my attic and I never go up there. I do however, appreciate pride of workmanship and these guys have a right to be proud.Steve gave me an exact quote at the beginning of this adventure and the price of the work scope never varied from that quote even though there were some materials that were discovered to be not reusable during the installation. He informed me of the oversight but immediately stated that he was covering that cost because he wanted everything to be perfect for us without any additional stress.Good customer service and honest contractors are becoming increasingly hard to find and I think those that remain should be rewarded. If youre looking for a good AC/heating company, please give this company a call. I try to write well but i promise I am not a professional reviewer. I am just a random local guy who had a problem with his air conditioner and these people stepped up and helped me without delay when I needed it.
