My plumbing technician, Christopher E., was phenomenal. He was courteous, considerate, professional, and very knowledgeable. I first had him come out because I had a leak behind the toilet from the angle stop, where the water hose connects to the pipe coming out of the wall. He quickly fixed this issue and called out that an inferior part had been used by my homes builder, so I ended up having all the angle stops replaced in my home. I appreciated his honesty and feel I got a good price for the work performed. I will absolutely use 1st Call again and will request Christopher if hes available.

I was having issues with my rental property’s kitchen sink backing up along with a leaky valve. I previously had a plumber go out and look at the issue and he said I had to live with the sink like that. So I searched for a second opinion and found 1st Call Plumbing. They were able to go out to the property next day.Christopher was amazing. Perfect customer service and fully explained to me the issues that were going on and what needed to be done. We went ahead with the service and he was able to fix all the sink issues I was having and made sure everything was working properly. I am very pleased with the service from 1st Call plumbing. 1st Call Plumbing was wonderful! They ended up having an opening earlier than expected and called to ask if they could come by sooner. Justin and Kyle were really great and professional! They cleaned the space in the garage where the water heater was and when they found some gnarly corrosion on one of the pipes and they replaced it. All of my questions were answered and they explained everything in detail about the new water heater they installed. Thanks guys!

I came home from vacation to find that our water had been turned off because of a massive water leak. I called 1st call plumbing. They came out right away and to my disbelief Oscar was able to pinpoint the exact location of the leak under our foundation in a matter of minutes with no evidence of water showing anywhere. They performed testing of our entire water system, made the repair to an abandoned main feed that I didn’t even know we had. Superb job. My hat is off to you! Very pleased with Greg’s expertise. Fixed a drip outside and wrapped the pipe nicely! ALSO my kitchen faucet had low water pressure and he went straight to it took out the part that makes it low water and cleaned out the calcium. Now I can do it myself! He didn’t hesitate when he saw the faucet( the faucet intimidates me)went straight to it and fixed it within about two minutes! Great job! Great service!!

Very thankful for 1st Call plumbing! Came home to find water leaking in the garage. Called for an appointment and help arrived within the hour. Kristian was our technician this time and he was fantastic at diagnosing the issues and provided multiple options to solve them. I have nothing but good things to say about David and this company. I noticed our water heating leaking late afternoon on Sunday. I called and scheduled for the Monday between 1-3pm. I discovered that my water heater was leaking on a Sunday afternoon. After receiving a suggestion from my retired plumber, i called last night and left a message with First Call Plumbing. I got a call back early this morning with an appointment in an hour or two. Ryan & Zack were here on time and gave me an estimate which was not cheap, but reasonable. They removed my old heater and installed my new one, cleaned up and hauled off the old stuff. I sent pictures of the results to my retired plumber and he agreed that it looked great.I think First Call Plumbing & AC is going to be my first call from now on!

JJ Melchiori from 1st Call Plumbing, Heating & Air was the technician that was dispatched for my Irrigation double check valve replacement. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional during the entire process. After replacing the double check valve, he noticed that my water pressure was low and recommended that I replace the flow regulator. I accepted his recommendation and I’m so glad that I did because my water pressure increased from 40psi to 72psi. My shower in the master bathroom has a new attitude and I love it. JJ also checked my Rheem tankless water heater setup and noticed that the expansion tank was defective and not needed for my setup. He replaced the expansion tank with pressure valve instead and now my system is operating perfectly. Im extremely satisfied with my service today and would highly recommend JJ and 1st Call Plumbing, Heating & Air for all of your needs. They were fast, efficient, customer service oriented. Please call them when you need assistance because you will be impressed. Outstanding job JJ!!

I couldnt be more satisfied with my interaction with 1st Call. We received a letter from SAWS saying we had been using 5 gallons an hour 24 hours a day, suggesting we have a leak somewhere. Chris Elizondo and his partner came out fixed the leak that was flagged by American Leak Detection and installed a pressure release valve and expansion tank. I will continue using this company for my plumbing needs.

Had some pressure issues and couldn’t figure out why. Called 1st Call and talked to Melissa and they agreed to try and get someone out (Saturday at 4:55pm). Five minutes later she was calling to tell me they were on the way. Zakk and Nate arrived and after discussing the issue they went straight to work diagnosing the issue. My water softener bit the dust and luckily it was in the very early stages. They replaced my system as the old one was leaking resin in to the lines. They also ensured that there was no resin left in my lines. These guys were professional, took care of business, cleaned up after themselves, and took the time to explain to me the issues and educate me on my system. They also did not leave until I was satisfied with all the work. I would 100% recommend them and use them again. Thanks again.

I remembered seeing 1st Call in my neighborhood not too long ago, so I did a Google search and saw that the business had good reviews. I went ahead and submitted a request for a quote. From their initial response all theway to a team of two technicians coming out was quick and professional. Technician Justin quickly resolved the issue and patiently answered my questions. I called Wednesday July 10th around 1pm about fixing a pinhole leak in the PEX tubing that runs across that attic and down to my shower. Sunday 8/11/2024We got a water bill that was twice what we usually get with no excess water use. 1st Call came out promptly, assessed it and found no leaks. Weve turned this over to SAWS since theyve been in the neighborhood and robo-called recently a few times that water would be out. There are leaks up and down the main streets to our house & 16 reported on SAWS map alone in this area.We submitted the 1st Call paperwork to SAWS and must wait 60-90 days for a possible billing adjustment. Really pleased with these guys! My kitchen sink was draining really slow and backing up, and they came out quickly and resolved this issue in 30 minutes. They were the first ac company I called to a full AC replacement. I also checked with two other company’s Jhon Wayne and Elmer. 1st call beat them by $4850 and beat them with 10 year warranty. Will F came out to my house to see if my unit could be fixed or needs to be replaced. I was it needed to be replaced. Will walked through the process of different units and prices. Not even once did he push to get the top of the line. But we wanted top of the line. We made payment arrangements and we were set for next day installation. The two AC tech showed up right on time ready to work. Ryan and Johnny are by far two of the neatest works I’ve ever seen. After they finished the installation they swept the area’s and left the room cleaner then when they started. They also took time to walk me through the ecobee thermostat great device. The city’s plumbers disputed that when they came to check and told me it was my problem. At my expense.1st Call had a camera with a long enough cable to go well past my property line to prove the leak was not on my property. I had 1st Call Plumbing Heating & Air come out this morning for a scheduled tune up on my Heating Unit. I received a text message telling me what time they would arrive and it included a picture of the service technician that would be arriving at my home as well. Ruben Duran came out to the my home and did a fantastic job, for an excellent price. He took his time to explain what he would be doing and then did a recap with me after he had finished the work. This is the second time I have used 1st Call Plumbing Heating & Air. I had them install a water softener system about 6 months ago and they did a fantastic job with that as well. I had been quoted $2,000 more for a similar unit, so they save me thousands and the water softener is amazing. I will recommend 1st Call Plumbing Heating & Air to anyone who asks who I know for any plumbing, heating, or air services.

We had a leak that we couldnt find, so we hired 1st Call Plumbing and they were great at trying to narrow down the problem on their first visit and gave us an estimate. They turned the next day the came back even while it was raining and got the problem resolved. They did minimal destruction to the yard and kept us informed throughout the process. When they had completed the repair, they cleaned up and put our yard back back in pretty good considering the rain created its own mess. Thanks to Josh, he was very professional and took good care of us.

These guys were awesome. They were able to dispatch someone same day on a Saturday. When my assigned plumber was tied up with another job, First Call put another team on my job with no delay! Brandon A. and an apprentice came and assessed the issue with my water heater. They were able to replace it immediately and had it done in roughly an hour and a half. The work was fast, efficient, and super clean. They hauled my old heater and made virtually no mess. Awesome work. Will use again!

On June 09, 2024, (Sunday- God’s day @ approximately 1 pm) I had a blockage on my kitchen sewer line. I called 4 different 24 hour plumbing companies in San Antonio and 1st Call Plumbing was the only one with a human answering, Sonya. She easily understood my Texas accent and their team responded and cleared the blockage via a clean out in 2 hours in the humid-heat. Basically I was told it was a 10 year grease & food build up on a cast iron sewer line. They check their work via camera too. I had sticker shock though; I had no idea plumbing was so expensive now but, I was lucky and they took the card.

I had this company come out back in 1920 and the services were awesome, just recently I had them come out and the Tech checked my unit up above in the attic and that was it and stated that the unit was to old which is only 8yrs old and finding the parts will take a lot for them to get them and it will cost over 8 thousand dollars because it has a bad leak, along with replacing the the whole unit for 20 thousand. So I got a second opinion and it turns out it was just the thermostat. I will like to know how many more people they have told this to and really did not need it done!!!!After my review above I receive a call from the owner John he was very nice and helpful and did someone out right away to double check and are now in the process of hopefully being able to replace a part than getting a whole new unit. Thank you John.

We called about a pipe that was rattling by our water heater in the garage.Joel Guevara and David came out and quickly assessed what was going on. Our water pressure was very high. Come to find out the PRV we had, had failed. They went over in detail about what they would need to do to fix our situation. These guys were awesome and very professional! They put in a high pressure PRV to handle any fluctuations of pressure in the neighborhood. They also flushed our water heater out. While digging to replace the older PRV, Joel and David noticed that a previous install that was done, could have been better. Joel and David knocked it out of the park with doing the install correctly and putting the correct size fittings that matched the pipe leading to our home.After all the work was done, they explained in detail about the work performed and we could barely even tell there was any digging done. Very top notch and professional gentlemen. Keep up the awesome work!

I had a problem with my hot water heater leaking and discovered after hours on a Friday. I read the reviews for 1st Call Plumbing and decided to give them a call that Saturday. I called at 7am when they opened and Patricia took my call and scheduled an appt that same day for a plumber to come take a look. She called me back when the plumber was 20 minutes from my home and texted me a picture of Brandon my plumber so I knew who to expect at my door. Brandon and his helper were right on time. They were courteous, very informative in explaining my options for a fix and the expected cost of each option so I could make an informed decision. They made sure that I understood the work that was to be done and approx how long the job would take. Within about an hour the problem was fixed. We tested the water heater to make sure it was operating properly with no leaks after and I was so impressed I decided to get an estimate on some future plumbing installs that I need in that same visit. They were happy to do that as well and emailed me all of the info for the estimate as well. Top notch service! Kudos to both Brandon and his helper! I will be using this company for all of my plumbing needs in the future.
